1. Data we collect

We collect the information you provide when you create an account (email, username, avatar choice), and information generated as you use Hamlet (study sessions, tasks, town state, streaks, friendships, gifts, room participation, quest progress).

2. How we use your data

We use your data to operate the service: to display your village, track focus sessions, maintain streaks, deliver social features (friends, rooms, gifts), and provide premium features to subscribers. We do not sell your personal data.

3. How your data is stored

Data is stored in our hosted Postgres database operated by Supabase, our data processor. Connections are encrypted in transit (TLS). Row-level security restricts access to your own records.

4. Payments

Premium subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Stripe acts as an independent payment processor under their own privacy terms.

5. Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EU/UK you have the right to access, correct, export, restrict or delete your personal data, and to object to processing. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Profile → Delete account. This permanently removes your town, sessions, reports and cancels any active subscription.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
